The Town of Paradise advises that the Town Hall will be closed for the remainder of the week. This is a result of the fire at the depot on Sunday, February 9. Town staff are working on business continuity and alternate work arrangements. The Town of Paradise advises that the Town Hall is closed on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. This closure is as a result of the fire in the Depot area on Sunday (February 9). The Paradise Double Ice Complex, including the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre and Fitness Centre, are open for regular hours. Garbage and recycling collection are going ahead as scheduled.

The Town of Paradise advises that snow clearing operations are on-going. Crews are currently out tonight (Sunday, February 9) in Town equipment doing necessary snow clearing. Staff are monitoring the weather, and snow clearing will continue throughout Monday.

The Town of Paradise advises that at approximately 4:20 p.m. today, Sunday, February 9, there was a fire in the depot area of the Paradise Town Hall. First Responders are on site and the fire is under control. There was no one in the Town Hall or depot at the time of the fire, and there are no reports of any injuries from the incident. Residents are asked to avoid the area at this time.
