97th Annual Tely Ten Mile Road Closures

The 97th Tely Ten Mile Road Race will start in Paradise on Sunday, June 22, 2025. As a result, the Town of Paradise will be closing the following roads.

• Topsail Road - from Stanhope Dr, Eastbound to Roundabout, McNamara Dr will be closed from 6:00 am to 8:45 am (Tely 10 Starting area)
• Topsail Road - Stanhope to Clearview will be opened to all traffic via a detour from Lanark to Clearview Rd or vice versa to Stanhope until 7:40 am.

PSA: Roadway Patching on St. Thomas Line - June 07, 2025

The Town of Paradise advises that there will be traffic interruptions on St. Thomas Line near the St. Thomas Line Pump Station project (new lift station) for roadway patching. This work will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Crews will work to minimize traffic disruptions; however, drivers should anticipate slowdowns and delays. Please use caution in the area and follow all signage and traffic control measures.

We understand residents’ frustrations with the work on the Lanark Basketball Court. Last fall, The Town awarded the construction of the Lanark Drive basketball court to an outside contractor. The Town of Paradise advises that the water and sewer installation on Windmill Road is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Work will take place daily between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and is expected to continue for approximately 12 weeks.
