The Town of Paradise advises of a planned, temporary water shut-off for Evergreen Village for Friday, December 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The water shut-off is required to complete emergency repairs to the main water line in the area. When water is restored, residents are reminded to run their water for a few minutes in the event of any discolouration or air in the pipes. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

There’s a new app for that in the Town of Paradise. Effective December 18, residents can get an app that provides the Town’s garbage and recycling collection calendar and information on Town events and news.

December 17, 2024 – The 2025 Budget for the Town of Paradise was tabled at the Public Council meeting on December 17. The $44.6 million dollar budget maintains the mil rates at 7.4 and 11.5 for residential and commercial respectively along with no changes to the water and sewer fees.

The Town of Paradise advises that the intersection of St. Thomas Line and Topsail Road will be closed on Monday, December 16 to complete work on Lift Station 10. The Town of Paradise advises of a lane closure on St. Thomas Line for the right-hand turning lane at the intersection of St. Thomas Line and Topsail Road. The lane will be closed starting 7 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27 and reopen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10. The lane closure is required for work related to the construction of the new lift station project.
